DeVry's Computer Information Systems program provides the technical skills as well as business principles and general education you need to succeed in this important career field. As a computer information systems professional, you will identify, analyze and design business solutions as well as develop, test and implement supporting code and databases. The CIS program is composed of coursework in communication skills, humanities, social sciences, personal and professional development, mathematics and science, business and accounting, systems concepts, programming, and systems development. Electronics and Network Technology professionals work with telecommunications systems that range in complexity from a connection between two offices in a single building to global networks that carry data, voice, electronic mail and video throughout a multinational organization. Coursework teaches the technical skills and business principles needed to succeed in this exciting career field. The three-semester Electronics Network Technology (ENT) diploma program covers installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer and networking equipment. You can continue in the program and build on your ENT foundation by completing Electronic Systems Technology coursework in physics, embedded systems and advanced concepts in wireless communications, as well as a capstone project. These topics will broaden your employability in career areas such as research and development, wireless, manufacturing and telecommunications.
