    Dental Assistant program overview- The objective of the Dental Assistant program is to prepare students for an entry-level position as a dental assistant in a dental office, clinic or lab environment, with the skills for advancement in the dental field, depending upon the student's goals.

    Job Possibilities- Graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions in private dental offices, group practices, public and private hospitals, public health institutions, clinics, dental insurance agencies, and for dental product distributors. Graduates can continue to grow in their careers and become office managers, enter a dental sales position, or obtain a position at a research facility or insurance company.

    Medical Assistant program overview- The objective of the Medical Assistant program is to equip students with skills for all aspects of the medical office. Students will receive instruction in both the clinical and administrative skills required in the medical assisting field.

    Job Possibilities- Students will learn how to use these skills via classroom and clinical hands-on training. Graduates will be qualified for entry-level employment in medical offices, various hospital departments and healthcare clinics.

Medical office specialists help keep medical offices running smoothly by performing a variety of administrative duties, such as maintaining patient records, filing insurance claims, and managing the billing process.

    Pharmacy Technician program overview- The objective of the Pharmacy Technician program is to prepare students with knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for entry-level positions in the pharmacy field or related area. Graduates of this program work directly under the supervision of Registered Pharmacists. General duties may include transcribing physician's orders and hospital charts, drug product selection, preparing medications for dispensing, labeling and refill authorization, computer data entry for patient profile maintenance, and procedures for acquiring all necessary information.

    Quality management- They also assist in quality management procedures and security measures. Other duties may include preparing unit dose medications, IV admixtures and sterile irrigations. Prior to graduation, students are required to complete a 160–hour externship at a local retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, residential pharmacy or other pharmaceutical facility.
