These programs are designed to meet the specific needs of the community and prepare graduates for rewarding careers in their field of study.The School is proud of its carefully selected staff and faculty members who bring varied educational and work experiences from their fields. Many are involved on a day-to-day basis in their profession and contribute knowledge and skills that reflect the current trends and requirements of their respective fields.
Career Services- The School Career Services Department will assist eligible graduates in their job search, including assisting with resume writing, interviewing, identifying job openings, and other job search activities. Continuous career services are available to all eligible graduates. Graduates who require additional assistance after their initial employment should contact the School to provide updated resume information and are encouraged to use the resources available in the Career Services Department.
Part-time Jobs: Many students work on a part-time basis during their training to help with their education costs. If students require assistance in securing part-time employment while attending classes, the Career Services Department will make every effort to assist them in their search.
Over 20 years- Career Centers of Texas was founded in October, 1985 as a branch of San Antonio College of Medical & Dental Assistants. In November of 1996, the School was purchased by Educational Medical Inc. (EMI), a School company with headquaters in Roswell, GA. changed its name to Quest Education Corporation in September of 1998. Quest was purchased in July 2000 by Kaplan, Inc. Kaplan is dedicated to continuing the same excellent education for which Career Centers of Texas is known. In December 2002, Quest changed its name to Kaplan Higher Education Corporation.

About Pharmacy Technology- The field of pharmacy technology can provide our graduates with stimulating work and positive growth potential in hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, retail pharmacies and insurance companies. Apply now to Career Centers of Texas Job Duties- Pharmacy Technicians assist the Pharmacist in processing prescription orders, maintaining inventories, patient profiles, prepackaging of medications, drug compounding, intravenous preparations and various other facets in an active and progressive pharmacy. Our students will have the opportunity to practice the skills they learned in class during their externship in the final weeks of their training. As our graduates enter the pharmacology field they become a vital part in the fascinating world of healthcare professionals.
